About |
Westwood Secondary School Sports Excellence Programme aims to promote sporting excellence, character development and sportsmanship in students. The programme provides opportunities for students to hone their skills and deepen their passion for sports. Students develop self-discipline, resilience and responsibility through sports activities and make positive contributions in their fields. The school’s Sports CCA Teams have achieved commendable results in the Zonal or National Inter-schools Championships. The Sports Excellence Programme includes the following sports:

Through 3-4 years of active participation in the opportunities and experiences provided by the school, Westwood’s DSA students will become active citizens who are passionate about making a difference to society and/or bringing Arts to the community, and who have the skills and aptitude to create that impact. |
Selection Criteria |

DSA Application Instructions
Applicants are required to attend an interview and selection trial.
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate skills pertaining to the sport that they are interested in applying for.
The dates for the selection trial of the respective sports are shown below:

Badminton: 2 Aug

Applicants will need to be present for the selection trial. The school will only consider re-scheduling the in-person selection trial for applicants who are unwell.
