Objectives

  • To promote aviation and inculcate a strong passion for flying among our students.       
  • To develop leadership qualities in students.
  • To build good character and inculcate values in students

PRE-REQUISITES (ACCORDING TO SINGAPORE YOUTH FLYING CLUB RULES) 
STUDENTS MUST BE: 
  • MEDICALLY FIT
  • BE SINGAPORE CITIZENS 
  • EITHER IN NORMAL ACADEMIC OR EXPRESS STREAM

As our club has a strong affiliation with the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC), there are many programmes that follow SYFC’s rules. Hence, we would require our members to be:       
  • Medically fit          
  • Singapore Citizes         
  • Either in Normal Academic or Express stream

Category B1: Furthest Distance
Design and build small unpowered gliders to be bungee-launched from designated launcher in a bid to fly the furthest.  
Category B2: Longest Time Aloft
Design and build small unpowered gliders to be hand launched in a bid to stay aloft the longest.

Radio Control Flight

Category C1: Fixed Wing Radio Control Flight
Design and build a small remote-controlled fixed-wing air platform to navigate an obstacle course.

Category C2:  FPV Flight (Drones)
Bring or design a FPV (first-person view) air platform to navigate an obstacle course.
