Semester 1
Through learning journeys, students gain exposure to a local practising artist and experience being in an artist studio.
Fun with Pen and Wash for Cityscape painting
Semester 1
Experience hands-on activity and complete an artwork under the guidance of an artist.
Beginners’ Oil Painting by Local Artist Tan Seng Kok
Semester 1
Develop basic techniques and skills in watercolour and oil painting such as colour mixing methods and brush technique unique to each medium.
Art Camp – Art Excursion Hike it Amazing Race
Semester 2
Explore the rich cultural heritage and artistic landmarks along the Singapore River and foster teamwork and collaboration among Visual Arts Club members as they navigate through various challenges
Hand Building Techniques (Ceramics)
Semester 2
Develop fundamental hand-building techniques in ceramics, including pinching, coiling and slab construction and explore creativity and self-expression through the tactile medium of clay
Printmaking and Paper making
Semester 2
Students will explore the fundamentals of printmaking techniques and develop an understanding of the papermaking processes.
