VISION/GOALS

Every Westwoodian to be exposed to Aesthetics programmes from various art forms and genres; being equipped with skills in music making through various tools, hence developing a lifelong appreciation for music.

Secondary 1 Dance Enrichment Programme	Jan-Jun	Equip students with the fundamental skills of dancing, fostering their artistic talents and creative expression through structured lessons and practice Foster a lasting interest and deeper appreciation for dance as a vehicle for lifelong enrichment Extend the joy and benefits of dance beyond Westwood, promoting community inclusivity and engagement
Secondary 1 Music Technology	Jun-Oct	Be exposed to music technology and experience how it is commonly used in the music industry Learning how to create music using music softwares such as “Bandlab” and “Soundtrap” Understand how to write original lyrics and create a song based on assigned themes
Secondary 2 Ukulele Playing Programme	Jan-Jun	Identify and be able to explain the functions of the different parts of ukulele and guitar Understand how to play various music chords and strumming patterns on ukulele/guitar Be able to sing a popular song and accompany it with appropriate music chords
Secondary 2 Guitar Enrichment Programme	Jun-Oct	Equip students with the fundamental skills of guitar playing, encouraging the development of their musical talents and creative expression through structured lessons and practice Develop appreciation for and deepen interest in guitar playing, underpinned by values of lifelong learning Extend the joy and benefits of guitar beyond Westwood, promoting community inclusivity and engagement
